The SAP S/4HANA material master, exposed through product CDS views, is captured in real time by this Foundational Data Product. I_PRODUCT provides the core record, I_PRODUCTPLANTBASIC and I_PRODUCTVALUATION add plant and valuation data, and I_PRODUCTUNITSOFMEASURE covers units of measure. MRP material data, stock calculation and the material-to-BOM link are included as well.
Creations, updates and blocks are detected through BOR event BUS1001 or RAP event R_PRODUCTTP. Delivered as a ready-to-use Excel template, it can be extended with your own custom CDS views.
