Debit memos billed in SAP S/4HANA are modeled through CDS views, so each document travels with its items, partners and journal entry. The model reads I_BILLINGDOCUMENT, I_BILLINGDOCUMENTPARTNER, I_JOURNALENTRYITEM and I_OPERATIONALACCTGDOCITEM to tie the sales side to the accounting side, and it includes the sales document flow as well.
Every create or cancel is captured in real time through RAP event R_BILLINGDOCUMENTTP. You receive a ready-to-use Excel template with the view relationships and can add your own CDS views.
