Physical SAP tables are the source for the Sales and Distribution data products meant for this subcategory. A table-based model reads SD objects such as sales orders, billing documents and deliveries directly from the underlying tables, and its Excel template documents how those tables relate.

Table-based models also accept Z/custom tables and your own CDS views as extensions. The CDS-based variants and the rest of the SD catalog are listed in the Sales and Distribution category.
