Equipment, functional locations and maintenance orders are the core of Plant Maintenance (PM) in SAP, together with the notifications and measurement documents that record work on technical assets. The category groups 13 Foundational Data Products, including Maintenance Order by Tables, Equipment Master by CDS VIEWS, Functional Location by Tables, Measurement Doc by CDS VIEWS and Equipment Calibration by Tables.

Equipment master, functional locations, measurement documents and notifications are each available by Tables and by CDS VIEWS, and maintenance items, the event builder and equipment types complete the set. Twelve products capture changes in real time; one uses batch loads. Nine are compatible with SAP ECC & SAP S/4HANA and four with SAP S/4HANA. Every template can be extended with Z/custom tables and your own CDS views.
