Sales billing documents in SAP S/4HANA are streamed in real time from the CDS view layer, each one linked to its journal entry in accounting. I_BILLINGDOCUMENT and I_BILLINGDOCUMENTITEM provide the billing header and items, while I_JOURNALENTRY and I_OPERATIONALACCTGDOCITEM add the accounting postings.
RAP event R_BILLINGDOCUMENTTP captures new billing documents and cancellations. Partner, document flow and journal entry item views are included in a ready-to-use Excel template that you can extend with custom CDS views or Z tables.
