Controlling

Controlling (CO) is where SAP keeps internal cost and profitability data, and the five Foundational Data Products in this category cover it: Cost Center Master by Tables, Activity Type by Tables, Profitability Analysis by Tables, Cost Center by CDS VIEWS and Profit Center by CDS VIEWS.

All five capture changes in real time. Three are compatible with SAP ECC & SAP S/4HANA and two with SAP S/4HANA. Cost centers appear twice, once read from physical SAP tables and once from CDS views, so you can pick the source that fits your system. Each product ships as a ready-to-use Excel template with the object's logic and source relationships, and can be extended with Z/custom tables and your own CDS views. The category is aimed at management accounting and FP&A data teams that need cost center, activity and profitability data outside SAP.
